TAL Garden Machinery was established in 1972 after first being called Newport Engineering prior to 1972 when the Business was a general Engineering Business mostly in the welding and fabrication business in which it was repairing agricultural machinery construction of agricultural Buildings decorative Wrought ironwork etc. But frequently being asked if I could service and sharpen Lawnmowers the Business diversified in  the late Seventies  into the Garden Machinery Business known today as TAL Garden Machinery

The mechanical side of how an engine works were second nature to me as I have always been into the restoration of vintage Tractors and Stationary Engines etc and my DAD was a clever engineer.

After attending many courses over the years for well known Garden Machinery Suppliers and their engine suppliers for the engines used on the Mowers. We have now got to be a reputable and recognized  Authorized Dealer for many Garden Machinery Suppliers and the engines fitted to that equipment today. We believe in honesty when giving information to a customer whether it is a machine repair estimate or for a replacement machine. We also do not believe in charging customers for parts they do not need.
